We have a role opening for a Head of Sales position to shape our sales organization and scale revenue to the next level. The ideal candidate will be responsible architecting a sales strategy and building out a team of Account Executives and SDR’s across enterprise and mid-market sales. The person should be excited by selling into new markets, strategizing next steps, negotiating complex deals and beating the competition in head to head opportunities.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop sales strategies and action plans. Successful execution of these strategies will be required to achieve financial targets.
  • Create and manage the Sales Budget in line with the sales strategy
  • Own and achieve quarterly and annual sales targets in the Global Market.
  • Monitor and Report on key sales metrics
  • Responsible for new market expansion including go to market strategy, hiring and developing geographic focused teams and partner network
  • Monitor and Improve various touch points across the sales buyer’s journey that may impact the Sales Conversion
  • Stay abreast with the industry trends and provide inputs into the strategy
  • Analyse pipeline and provide key business insights
  • Report and analyze data related to Demand Generation, Pipeline Forecast, Conversion Rates, Target Account, Market Segmentation,Win/Loss Ratios
  • Responsible for formulating and monitoring sales processes
  • Identify and fulfil the gaps in sales by incorporating training modules, both internals & external
  • Adept with creating Pre-Sales pitches, Contracts &SOW
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships, including at the C-level
  • Travel extensively in pursuit of deals and building a robust client network

This role may be right for you if you have…

  • Over 15 years of Sales Experience with a minimum 8 years of sales experience in the International Market (US exposure is a must). Experience in ecommerce domain is preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree is a must. Master’s degree from a Tier 1 institute is highly preferred
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Strong Business acumen with a problem-solving attitude
  • Possess extensive knowledge of sales principles and practices, and an ability to coach others on them
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions.

  • The Ability tooptimize market mix which is relative to the core target consumers and identifies the roadmap that will lead to achievement of the department’s goals as well as the overall goals of the business.
  • Well versed with eCommerce Sales market
  • Thorough understanding of Sales Strategy required to lay the foundation of brand loyalty for an IT Company
  • Knowledge of integrating Digital sales strategy and practices into the system.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Post Graduate/Graduate from a leading University/Institution
  • MBA in Marketing & Sales or related field is a must
