i95Dev Connect
Unified Commerce Through Integration
Multi-location apparel and fashion retailers run F&O, POS, and a storefront as three separate systems.
We connect them into one, in real time — so a sellout, a return, or a pickup behaves the same everywhere it happens.
A layer we own — not an IT project, not an ops workaround.
Works with Shopify, Shopify Plus, Adobe Commerce, and other major ecommerce platforms.
What This Unlocks
New Revenue Channel
BOPIS is growing faster than ecommerce overall in the US, and apparel is one of the categories leading it. Every reservation checks stock in real time, so that growth becomes completed sales, not cancelled pickups.
More Feet, More Often
A shopper checks real-time stock before driving over — turning research into a visit. One loyalty program, not two ledgers drifting apart, turns that visit into a habit.
Every Price, Trusted
Loyalty rates, VIP terms, and wholesale pricing apply correctly on every channel, automatically — so a customer never questions why the app and the register disagree.
Frictionless Everywhere
Buy online, return in-store. Ship from the nearest location. Split across two stores when neither has full stock. One relationship with the brand, however the order actually moves.
Brand Trust Protected
A markdown is the same markdown, everywhere — so a customer never catches a contradiction that costs their trust.
No Lost Sales
The moment something sells out anywhere, it’s reflected everywhere, in real time — so the next customer isn’t chasing inventory that’s already gone
Retailers Running i95Dev Connect

Growth Has a Blind Spot
A drop sells out online while the same size sits on a shelf two miles away. Nobody finds out until a customer posts about it instead of asking at the register.
Returns make it worse. 20-30% of what ships back doesn’t rejoin sellable stock fast enough to sell again this season — every viral moment marketing wins becomes a moment operations quietly loses.
We close that gap. That’s the job.

The Numbers Behind the Growth
BOPIS
US buy-online-pickup-in-store sales are projected to reach $177.9B in 2026, up 15.3% year over year. 68% of US shoppers used it in 2024, up from 57% two years before. Apparel is one of the categories driving that growth.
Retention
Omnichannel retailers see 89% customer retention, versus 33% for retailers with weak cross-channel programs.
Transaction Value
Associates with real-time customer data at checkout drive 15-25% higher transaction values through clienteling.
Lifetime Value
A unified customer view drives 15-25% higher customer lifetime value.
Stockouts
Real-time, unified inventory cuts stockout events by roughly 19%.
The Gap
Retailers who’ve closed this gap grow revenue at nearly 2x the rate of retailers who haven’t. Only 7% have gotten there.
You’ve seen what’s possible.
Here’s what it takes to run it.
How It Actually Runs
One Engine, Not Two
Your stores already run on Commerce Scale Unit — the same real-time pricing, inventory, and promotion engine as your registers. Your storefront usually doesn’t. This puts it on that engine too, instead of a separate, slower connection to headquarters.
Native Data Exchange
Inventory, pricing, and customer data move through F&O’s own Commerce Data Exchange, in real time — the same channel Microsoft built for stores — connecting to Shopify, Shopify Plus, Adobe Commerce, or your storefront platform of choice.
Never Down
Sync holds through the exact moment a drop or a viral spike puts the most pressure on it.
Heals Itself
A failed update gets caught and retried automatically. Nobody pages anyone.
Built Around You
Your field mappings, your variant structure, your business rules. Not a generic template.
Does This Impact My Current Orders?
Most teams have something patched together — inherited from whoever set it up, or from a vendor who’s never handled variant-level sync the way apparel needs.
The question we hear first, every time: will live orders be disrupted? No. Here’s how.
Audit
We review what’s running today: what it does, what it misses, where it breaks.
Discovery
Every workflow and rule documented before a line of configuration is written. Your team signs off.
Configure
Connect built in development. What’s running today keeps running in production.
Validate
Tested against your real data, including a simulated high-volume drop.
Production
What’s running today stops. Connect goes live. One planned switchover.
Go-Live
Final testing with live data. Your team signs off.
If you’re still running legacy MPOS specifically: Microsoft retired it in October 2023. Take this audit to surface what this changes for you — worth knowing before, not after.
Standard configurations: audit to go-live in 4-6 weeks

Frequently Asked Questions
1. Does this work with our storefront platform — we’re on Adobe Commerce, not Shopify.
Yes. This connects to F&O and Commerce Scale Unit on one side and your storefront on the other — Shopify, Shopify Plus, Adobe Commerce, or another major platform. The architecture doesn’t change; only the storefront-side connector does.
2. What F&O version do we need to be on?
All versions of F&O are supported.
3. Does this cover marketplace channels like Amazon?
Yes, marketplace channels are covered.
4. Does it cover social-commerce channels — TikTok Shop, Instagram Shopping?
That depends on which channels and how they’re currently connected — worth a specific conversation if this is a driver for you.
5. We’re growing — opening new stores, adding channels. Does this scale with us, or do we reconfigure every time?
New stores and locations extend the same configuration — they don’t require rebuilding it. New sales channels are scoped individually, since each one connects differently.
6. Our SKU matrix — size, color, style — is more complex than generic retail. Can this actually handle that granularity?
Yes. Sync happens at the variant level by default — that’s the standard unit it works with, not a special case.
7. We already patched this with a wholesale/B2B ordering tool. Isn’t that solved?
That solves B2B ordering. It doesn’t touch the DTC, POS, and social-commerce triad — where oversells and out-of-sync drops actually happen.
8. We’re already running F&O for reasons that have nothing to do with apparel specifically. Why not move to a fashion-specific commerce platform instead?
Because that’s a bigger, riskier move than fixing the sync itself. This fixes it without asking you to leave the ERP you already trust for everything else the business runs on.
9. How does data actually move between our systems?
Store and F&O inventory, pricing, and loyalty data sync through F&O’s own Commerce Data Exchange — real-time, bidirectional, with your existing field mappings and custom logic preserved. This is the same architecture Microsoft built for Commerce Scale Unit; we configure and own it, we don’t bolt something on top of it.
10. What happens to our existing loyalty data?
Nothing is migrated. We’re not replacing your systems — we’re connecting them. Your loyalty data, wherever it lives today, simply starts syncing in real time once the integration goes live.
11. BOPIS is going to drive more pickup volume. Doesn’t that mean more work for store staff?
Someone still has to pull the item — that part doesn’t disappear. What this removes is the wasted version of that work: pulling an item that turns out not to actually be there, or a customer showing up to a cancelled reservation. The volume grows; the wasted motion doesn’t.
12. Our F&O setup has a lot of custom configuration. Is that a problem?
No. We map to your custom fields and workflows directly.
13. What’s the real reliability commitment here?
Sync health is monitored continuously, with a defined response process for anything that fails. A specific uptime/MTTR figure belongs here if one exists.
14. What happens when our store number and our online number disagree?
You set the rule for which one wins, once, at setup. Enforced automatically after that.
15. We tried building something like this ourselves once and it didn’t hold up. What’s different this time?
Most self-built attempts fail the same way — whoever built it moves on, and the next person inherits something nobody fully understands. i95Dev owns and maintains this permanently.
16. How do we know this pays for itself, and how fast?
Needs a real number or framework from you. We’ll build the actual payback model against your specific numbers before you commit to anything.
17. Is this something IT owns, or something operations/merchandising owns?
Neither, by design. i95Dev owns it, specifically so it doesn’t become a project either team carries alone.
18. Who’s actually responsible for this once it’s live?
i95Dev is. We monitor and update it as your store network and catalog change.
